July 2026

Hi Friends,

Summer in Whistler is in full swing. Long sunny days, mountain adventures, vibrant patios, and an exciting lineup of events make this one of the best times of year to be here.

Today marks the start of Crankworx! From July 24 through August 2, Whistler transforms into the world’s mountain biking capital. For your convenience, simply click the link below to jump directly to the full event schedule and plan your visit.

The Village will be buzzing over the next two weekends as Crankworx and the Whistler Summer Concert Series bring incredible energy, live music, and a fantastic atmosphere to town. Whether you’re cheering on the world’s best riders, catching an evening concert, or simply soaking up the summer vibe, there’s something for everyone.

Enjoy everything Whistler has to offer—and as always, if you’re curious about what’s happening in our local real estate market, you’ll find the latest updates below.

While headlines continue to focus on slowing markets and economic uncertainty across Metro Vancouver, that narrative isn’t fully translating to Whistler and Pemberton. Our markets remain resilient, supported by lifestyle-driven buyers, limited long-term supply, and the enduring appeal of mountain living.

In Whistler, buyers have benefited from increased inventory and more choice than we’ve seen over the past few years, creating a healthier, more balanced market.

Well-priced properties continue to attract strong interest, particularly in the 1-2 bedroom nightly rental segment, while buyers are taking a thoughtful, research-driven approach before making decisions. Negotiation has become more common, but quality properties continue to command attention. Within residential, I’m observing some well sharpened prices on attractive listings- there’s some lovely opportunities out there!

Pemberton continues to demonstrate steady momentum. Sales activity increased through the second quarter, supported by families seeking more space and value, along with buyers looking for a full-time lifestyle in the valley. Inventory remains healthier than a year ago, giving purchasers more opportunity while allowing sellers of desirable homes to achieve excellent results when priced appropriately.

As always, every neighbourhood and property type tells a different story. Whether you’re considering buying, selling, or simply curious about the value of your home, I’m always happy to provide insight into what’s happening in your corner of the market.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and if you find yourself up here- love for an iced tea with you!

Warmly,

Kathleen 604 353 3327
